Point Break Perfection

Point Break Perfection

Well merry xmas and a happy new year to you all. I have been visiting friends in Perth with Sally and have been on a surfing and wine tasting trip of 9 days to Margaret River. This has been a great break and the surf has been pumping, this has however meant that the training has taken a little bit of a back seat which is not good before the National TT and RR champs. I have been getting out for higher intensity efforts with a couple of longer rides for good measure, I just haven’t been doing enough!!!!

Oh well I am back in Perth and will try to nail a good couple of weeks leading into the champs and see where it gets me.

Happy new year

Work Has Finished;o)

Posted by fenner on December 8, 2008

Well it has been a while, I have been flat stick working and training. In fack too much working and not enough training, but, thats how it goes sometimes. The numbers are very good and I am at my best levels from last year, so everything is on schedule. I have been completing 20 minute efforts at around 360 watts and actually did TT the other week for 26 minutes at 367 ;o) happy days. I had a personal best yesterday of 415 watts for 5.20 up the drive here doing 5 x 5 minute VO2 efforts. I am off to Melbourne this week for the 3rd round of the National series on the MTB and then full on prep for the National road and TT champs. I am really loking forward to using my new Transition which looks soooooooooooo fast. Well I will be updating more again now with some interesting analysis from some of my riders files and data from last season.
